Photo Op: Sage Green & Beauty Booty

Hola ladies!

I'm trying to get back in the swing of things with more frequent postings. I caught the BOGO-50% sale at Walgreens this weekend and bought Revlon ColorStay foundation in 400-Caramel and Revlon ColorTwist mascara in Blackest Black. My mommie also copped me a few NYX palettes at a sale for 2 bucks a piece!

I also found NYX liners for 1 buck a piece at a local beauty supply. Yeah I bought all of the ones I didn't already have lol. I only bought 2 lip liners & the rest are eyeliners. All of the eyeliners are metallic except the blue on the end. I think the metallic liners are comparable to the new HIP liners that are out now.

I've been trying to stray away from the bright colors at work and have been on a neutral kick lately. Today I wanted to add a little color without being too bright. I opted for a sage green toned down with a chocolate brown. This is what I came up with...

No Scruples - very similar to High Drama, a bit lighter

Passion Parade - chocolate bronze

Plastic Paradise - metallic sky blue

Resisted Anxiety - chocolate brown, not as bronzey as Passion Parade

Live and connected!

Being w.out my cable and internet for a week was torture! But i'm okay now :)

I am in LOVE w.tha new place! Although it is a bit empty since i'm starting all over :/

I'm an HGTV/Style Network/Apartment Therapy fanatic so i've got big plans as far as deco. I'll post pix on tha before&afters & updates as I go along, BUT not here.

I've created a much more personal blog (www.MissAnnaBanna.blogspot.com) so that this one can focus solely on makeup & beauty.

since I was gone so long, I have sooo much to update ya on.

Today I stopped at Drug Emporium to pick up a couple of Milani shadows. The one I wanted was broken AND it was the only one. I thought about talking them into selling it to me for less, but who wants a tha hassle of dealing w.an already broken shadow?

I did however run across a very good sale...

I bought all of these CG Wetslicks & shadows for ONLY 15 bucks & some change! If you can't read the receipt, the shadows were 1.39 and the glosses were 2.31. Couldn't pass that up! I'm not too happy w.the shadows though. They aren't very pigmented & rub off easily. No staying power, but for 1.39 can I really complain? :)

Randomness

so it's like 2am & i'm up blogging...already addicted lol :)

actually i think i've been suffering from sleep insomnia. i can't fall asleep until tha wee hours of tha morn :/

anywho i went to target yesterday & found this soap. i thought it was interesting and wanted to try it out. i'd never heard of it or tha brand before. i used it to wash my face last night & it actually works pretty nice. it was only 5 bucks for a pretty huge bar :)

oh tha awards tonight was pretty nice although i missed tha 1st 30 min or so of it! still shocked that kanye got best male hiphop above lil wayne. eh, they had to give em something so they wouldn't have to hear him bitching all night about it :) i was disappointed to not see beyonce though. thought she was supposed to do a surprise performance w.lil wayne. oh well :/

i think i should really go to bed now. more tomorrow :)
