i'm trying to get back in the swing of posting regular FOTDs. i haven't been doing anything special to my makeup during the work week unless i'm going out. but since i'm working at the makeup bar now, i have to umph up my face. here's the look i did today:

the cam washed out a lot of the color but i used (all MAC) Hepcat, Grape pigment and bit of Beauty Marked on the eyes...

lips lined in MAC Grape and can't remember the lip color, but it's MAC also. and i think i have Clove on as a blush.

I actually did this look before Halloween and never got around to posting it. It came from the MAC Halloween '09 face chart [forgot what it's actually called].

Since i'm on my neutral, SFW kick this was the perfect look that incorporates a little color without being BAM! in your face ;-)

I didn't get a chance to take pix until later that night, [hence the grease face and nekkie lips] but it held up pretty decent IMO -shrugs-

Hola ladies!

I'm trying to get back in the swing of things with more frequent postings. I caught the BOGO-50% sale at Walgreens this weekend and bought Revlon ColorStay foundation in 400-Caramel and Revlon ColorTwist mascara in Blackest Black. My mommie also copped me a few NYX palettes at a sale for 2 bucks a piece!

I also found NYX liners for 1 buck a piece at a local beauty supply. Yeah I bought all of the ones I didn't already have lol. I only bought 2 lip liners & the rest are eyeliners. All of the eyeliners are metallic except the blue on the end. I think the metallic liners are comparable to the new HIP liners that are out now.

I've been trying to stray away from the bright colors at work and have been on a neutral kick lately. Today I wanted to add a little color without being too bright. I opted for a sage green toned down with a chocolate brown. This is what I came up with...

Beauty Booty: The OCC Airbrush System

It's finally here! :)
I'd been contemplating on whether it would be worth investing in or not for months.
After seeing up close & personal...I believe so :)

This is the Sparmax compressor...

the needle/airbrush...isn't it so pretty & shiny?

the kit came w.12 foundation shades, 6 highlighters, 6 blushes and 6 corrector shades.
i ordered 3 addt'l mini-color sets (2 diff metallic sets and 1 bright color set)

i had it delivered to mah job so i wouldn't miss it's delivery.
couldn't wait to get home to play w.it...
mah bestie came over so i had a test dummy...lol :)

Being w.out my cable and internet for a week was torture! But i'm okay now :)

I am in LOVE w.tha new place! Although it is a bit empty since i'm starting all over :/

I'm an HGTV/Style Network/Apartment Therapy fanatic so i've got big plans as far as deco. I'll post pix on tha before&afters & updates as I go along, BUT not here.

since I was gone so long, I have sooo much to update ya on.

Today I stopped at Drug Emporium to pick up a couple of Milani shadows. The one I wanted was broken AND it was the only one. I thought about talking them into selling it to me for less, but who wants a tha hassle of dealing w.an already broken shadow?

I did however run across a very good sale...

I bought all of these CG Wetslicks & shadows for ONLY 15 bucks & some change! If you can't read the receipt, the shadows were 1.39 and the glosses were 2.31. Couldn't pass that up! I'm not too happy w.the shadows though. They aren't very pigmented & rub off easily. No staying power, but for 1.39 can I really complain? :)

I also did the makeup for a promo shoot for a clothing store here Monday. Here are the faces I did....I actually have better pix, but i'm too lazy to upload the disc on my pc lol :)
