Bio Oil Pt II - Week One

It was sorta hard to do this - posting the naked face pix & all lol - but aw what tha heck?!
Here are results after a week's usage...

& don't laugh at mah bonnet. couldn't mess up tha fresh curls! :)

I tried using Bio Oil one day under my foundation & found out that was a no-go. It's a bit too oily for daytime usage so I only put it on at bedtime. It seems like it works to dry up the dark spots because they seem to be flaking off. However it doesn't dry out your skin or clog it up. It's not that oily & it smells kinda nice.

Stay tuned for Week Two's results....♥

Greetings AnnaBanna, I came across your blog through other blogs and your posting caught my attention. For many years I used the same products and was nervous to experiment with new products b/c of my sensitive skin. About to turn 40 in two weeks, I did try one new product for oil control and would love to know your thoughts.

BBS: I know & i'm starting to love it! I'm usually disappointed in products like this, but this one is actually working :)

blog sisters: Thanx for stopping by! I have the same prob! I was actually scared it would break me out especially since it's an oil, but it didn't :) I'm gonna add you to my roll, do you mind?

muze: I'm still surprised I did it! You don't understand girl, I go NOWHERE w.out coverage lol :) I private'd the other page again bc I couldn't think of anything to write about & didn't think anyone was reading it anyway lol. I'll undo it juss for you! :)

I got bio oil here.. actually its my mothers... i just apply it on my face after the OCM (oil cleansing method).. i don't know what it does yet.. I'll wait until i find castor oil to mix with my olive oil.

Can't wait to see the results . I might buy if it works because I have hyperpigmentation scars too.

What type of concealer do you use to cover and do you use a powder on top of your foundation?

koffee dyme: i got mine from mah mom too! she had 3 of them so i swiped one lol :) what does the mixing of castor oil & olive oil do?

misschriss: it's doing good so far, let's see if it keeps up! i don't use concealer, just liquid foundation. a mac sr artist taught me the 'pat method' in which you can pat the foundation (w.the foundation brush) on the spots where you want more coverage. depending on how big of a rush i'm in, i use studio fix powder over the studio fix fluid foundation.

How about I've had Bio Oil for a good minute now but I've never used it on my face? I've used it every blue moon on my body but I should really get back in the habit again so I can do a review on it...I have to say: when you put on makeup you look so flawless?! I didn't know you suffer from hyperpigmentation too! :(

Awww thanx (I guess? lol:) I'm gonna see how it does on my face first, then i'm gonna try it on my body. I suffered from the worst of hyperpigmentation :( I had a VERY bad reaction to Nair and it broke me out from my upper arms to back & belly and bikini line. I thought about getting a chemical peel but I dunno...

miss anjela took the words out of my mouth... i would have never known you had anything but flawless skin...

Wow...how about I suffered from a breakout from Nair in "A" school?! Well, actually, it burned the h%&l out of me! It was so painful! I've also been thinking about getting a chemical peel too so if this AHA Souffle that I'm using doesn't work, I'm going to look at home chemical peels...

may i recommend at home chem peels from Makeupartistschoice.com...

BEST products.

i had skin issues for a FEW years. they have all but cured me of any of them.

highly highly recommended.

feel free to email for details.

Castor oil and olive oil is used to cleanse the face... instead of using those harsh chemicals/soaps...

awww thanx muze & angela for thinking that lol. now ya'll see why i was so hesitant about posting tha nekkie-face pix :)

Anjela: Nair = Evil lol :) i tried to use it again my freshman year for my legs & had my roomie doubled over in laughter as i panicked bc it itched so bad afterwards. i used brushes & everything LMAO...never again!

muze: i've looked at a site someone had posted w.diff chemical peels but have been kinda scared to use em. BUT i will be emailing you for more details...ASAP lol :)

koffeedyme: really? i've never heard of that. i'm going to check that out now. seems like a good replacement!
